SOLUS3 is a trio featuring harpist and percussionist Julia Thornton (Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry), drummer Hamilton Lee (Transglobal Underground, UNITE, Lunar Dunes) and bassist Ian Blackaby (Lunar Dunes). Their seven track debut album "The Sky Above The Roof" includes a setting of a Lorca poem, an arrangement of the eponymous Vaughan Williams song and five pieces based on group improvisations.

Since May 2001 the core trio ihas been augmented by vocalist Krupa (Transglobal Underground) and trumpeter Francesco Filizzola.
